![]() ![]() The gist is to use a tiny (4MB) boot image to boot your HDD into a file manager called uLaunchELF, use that to create a Free MC Boot memory card, and then use FMCB to then format your HDD and then install FHDB. ![]() The only files you will download are very small (about 1.5MB), and it does not take much effort to get to where you can install your own apps. You can create your own Free MC Boot memory card AND set up FHDB on your drive very easily with just your HDD and necessary adapters (network adapter, USB adapter for your HDD so you can connect to your PC, and possibly IDE-to-SATA adapter if you are using a SATA drive - all these are needed anyway if you were planning to take the "noobie pack" route) You really should just focus on installing only what you need, rather than using someone else's package that has a ton of things you might not even use. ![]()
